Partner with local VFW & AM Legion to Provide vision screening for
veterans and their families on a quarterly basis;
•
For those whose vision screening suggests a professional follow-up,
provide financial assistance for eye exam & glasses, if needed;
•
Explore the potential for extending LCI’s hearing aid assistance
program to area- veterans, who qualify;
•
Encourage our LEOs to get involved with recording the oral histories of
Vets; and
•
Encourage a Lions Zone project that is intended to honor those who
have served and given so much.
The FILC Board of Directors Officially Approved the following
Action Plan
at their regularly scheduled Board Meeting on April 28, 2014.
