Every person offers unique talents to any
organization. When we combine our efforts
and work toward a common goal, the
results are usually mind boggling! Lions
work is like a gigantic puzzle. Until the
last piece is found the picture is never

Beach Chair Project...
PP Sam & Membership Chair Muriel Mooney visited the Fenwick Island breach recently
to investigated beach chair usage for the Board. Ironically, they encountered a
gentleman using one of two previously provided chairs, a Mr. Monroe Robbins.
As it turned out, Monroe was a FILC former member back in 1989. And he
enthusiastically stood behind the qualities of support afforded infirm individuals who
frequent the beach! As Lion Sam remarked this was probably an omen for our project!
Following thoughtful review of their findings, Lions Sam & Muriel report that another
chair is indeed needed. All chairs of this design work great; easy to push and beach
goers love them. They have recommended we purchase another chair. It appears likely
the club will support another chair for the beach at its next opportunity. See pictures
below of Lion Sam and Mr. Monroe at the beach.
2015 FILC ANNUAL SPAGHETTI DINNER
FENWICK CRAB HOUSE
This year's Annual Spaghetti Dinner was supported by a very enthusiastic contingent of Indian River
LEO Club members who performed a range of dinner functions, including clean-up... whew!
Altogether, 25 LEO Club members assisted FILC Lions and others, in serving over 300 hundred meals.
Customer reports were overwhelmingly agreed that this years meal experience was once again an
outstanding event!
By their participation, in coming to our Dinner, many Club community projects will benefit because of our
customers donation to this cause.
Not all LEO members are shown above since they contributed their time on a staggered time schedule.
